Massage can benefit you in the following ways:

• Increase circulation

• Eliminate toxins from the body

• Help the body heal after injury or trauma

• Increase sense of happiness & well-being

• Reduce stress

SWEDISH MASSAGE
Swedish Massage is also known as relaxation massage. This type of massage can be very soothing and will gently ease all of the stress out of your body. Massage strokes tend to be long and luxurious and feel wonderful. For a real "spa" experience, this is the way to go!

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE / SPORTS MASSAGE
Often therapists refer to this type of work as Muscle Therapy. The massage may focus on troubled or sore areas of the body and will work more deeply into specific muscles. A Deep Tissue Massage may be great for helping heal injuries or work out those "kinks" you may get in certain areas of your body. When combined with Swedish-style massage techniques, a Deep Tissue Massage may be just what the doctor ordered!

REIKI
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by a "laying on of hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect.

THAI MASSAGE
Thai massage is performed on a soft mat on the floor. It has been described as “having yoga done to you.” The receiver is taken through a number of assisted stretches where the therapist uses their whole body to manipulate and direct the receiver into various positions similar to those in a yoga practice. One can feel relaxed, energized and experience a sense of deep peace. Recommended session time is 90 minutes.

In addition to our onsite services, Body Endeavors Massage Therapists can come to you! We can provide table or chair massage at your home, business or special event. Please call for rates. Travel fees will apply.

Muscle Activation Technique, (MAT)
M.A.T is a revolutionary new process for correcting muscular imbalances in the body. It has dramatically improved functional capabilities in people of all age groups, providing a pain free lifestyle.

What makes Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) unique?
MAT is a biomechanically based approach to identifying and correcting muscle imbalances. Muscle imbalances cause excess stress on the body, usually manifested in the form of pain. The goal of MAT is to correct muscle imbalances in order to decrease pain and improve muscle function.

BENEFITS OF MAT :

  • chronic pain, specific injuries; acute and chronic,
  • back, shoulder, hip, knee and foot pain
  • arthritis
  • herniated disc and sciatic nerve pain
  • rotator cuff injuries
  • tendonitis
  • tmj
  • sports injuries
  • pain associated with aging
  • post-physical therapy enhancement

Clients often report improved balance, motion and immediate pain relief. MAT stimulates muscle groups that enhance stability and movement, letting “stiff” muscles return to normal and pain free function.
